5 Day 4-year-olds
At REDS we believe in "Can Do Kids", so we start at an early age helping them develop independence while learning how to follow a simple routine.
At REDS we believe that it is our responsibility to provide the appropriate foundation for more formal learning. In our 5-day 4's class, we focus on building self-esteem, developing independence, following directions, strengthening fine motor skills, and furthering the development of cognitive skills through play. The classroom environment provides opportunities for scientific exploration, process art, building with blocks, imaginative play, and writing activities.
Our 4 year olds get an abundance of time outdoors discovering their world and using nature to enhance their curriculum. Not only do our children enjoy the natural surroundings of REDS, but many times they get to bring the outdoors in through projects in their classroom and weekly art class.
The 5-Day 4-year-old program meets 9:30-1:00 Monday-Friday. Starting in 2024, the hours will be 9:00-12:30. Children must turn 4 by September 30 of the year enrolled.

The students in this program are required to be toilet trained prior to their entrance into school.
