Older 3’s/Young 4’s
At REDS we believe in "Can Do Kids", so we start at an early age helping them develop independence while learning how to follow a simple routine.
Our older 3's and young 4's continue to develop their independence by learning to share, play cooperatively, and develop their gross and fine motor skills. Children in the three's class learn problem-solving skills as they build with blocks, role-play, maneuver manipulatives, and experiment with art media. Language development and
pre-literacy experiences are enhanced by reading books, singing songs, learning rhymes, and doing finger-plays.
The students also develop physically through creative music/movement activities and a lot of outdoor play in our natural play environment.
The Older 3’s/Young 4’s program meets from 9:30-12:30 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday frrom 9 am-12 pm. Preference will be given to children who turn 4 during the school year. The students in this program are required to be toilet trained prior to their entrance into school.
