Pre-Kindergarten

At REDS we believe that it is our responsibility to provide the appropriate foundation for more formal learning. In our Pre-K class, we focus on building self-esteem, developing independence, following directions, strengthening fine motor skills, and furthering the development of cognitive skills through play. The classroom environment provides opportunities for scientific exploration, process art, building with blocks, imaginative play, and writing activities.

Our 4 year olds get an abundance of time outdoors discovering their world and using nature to enhance their curriculum. Not only do our children enjoy the natural surroundings of REDS, but many times they get to bring the outdoors in through projects in their classroom and weekly art class.
